
Busy B's Sourdough Microbakery + Homestead is a home-based operation focusing on simple and meaningful life-giving traditions. From growing our own food in the garden, to baking wholesome, gut-loving sourdough, tending to our multiple beehives and chickens, to embracing a slower way of living- these practices nourish both the family and soul.
Our growing family of nearly six has deep roots here, with ties to the La Pine community dating back as early as the 1940's. Those who came before us paved the way as small business owners, dedicating their work to serving and strengthening this place we call home. Today, we're proud to carry on that legacy- continuing the tradition of hard work, family values and community. All while operating out of our childhood home! Oh, the nostalgia!
Our recipes are carefully curated with you in mind. All ingredients are thoughtfully sourced from right here in the Pacific Northwest- supporting local farmers, sustainable practices and organic traditions. Every boule made and homestead good we offer is a reflection of our community, created to nourish both the body and land. Flours used are NEVER bromated, bleached or enriched. Busy B's sourdough is made only with wild yeast in a slow fermented process to ensure proper flavor profiles and optimal gut health. We're all about getting back to the basics!
